For Sale – Beneteau Oceanis 311 ‘Joie de Vivre’

Introduction

One of the most successful boats in Beneteau’s long history. The Oceanis 311 is hugely popular all over Europe since her launch in 1988. Extremely comfortable and well equipped down below for long distance cruising, and also a good racer.

Engine

Yanmar 18hp inboard diesel (regularly serviced) with shaft driven fixed two blade prop. 2 x 12 v batteries charged from alternator. Shore power.

 

Construction

White GRP hull, deck and superstructure with stub keel/lifting centreplate, wheel steering and twin rudders. Livery in burgundy and yellow.

 

Accommodation

JDV can sleep 6 adults in comfort, with a generous double berth in the aft cabin, twin full-length bench settees in the main saloon and a double V-berth up front. The galley comes equipped with a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, an electric fridge and twin-burner cooker with grill and oven. The saloon is attractively finished in cherry, with  pale turquoise upholstery. There is over 6′ standing headroom at the main companionway hatch. Her seperate heads has a sea toilet (with holding tank and outlet pump) and a shower. She is fitted with an Ardic warm air heating in the main saloon and aft cabin.

Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop with deck stepped mast and alloy spars. Single pair of aft-swept spreaders, stainless steel standing rigging (replaced 2014). Mainsail bag with lazy jacks.

Furlex genoa furler (2014) and single line reefing (2) led aft to the cockpit.

Mainsail – 2001, still in very good condition and valeted last year.

Genoa – Jeckells 2010
